When you arrive, you will be part of the University community from day one and here are lots of ways to get involved with the campus life.
Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has five men's and nine women's varsity sports teams, which compete in NCAA Division I sanctioned sports. There are also recreational sports and intramural leagues, including basketball, fencing, sailing, rugby, scuba, tennis, table tennis, and many more.

The Dugan Wellness Center offers many great amenities for all students. There are two basketball courts, two multipurpose rooms for the Group Fitness classes and Sports Clubs, and two floors of workout equipment. In addition, you will have access to the Island Hall gymnasium offering two additional basketball courts and a 1/7th-mile track.
The Hike & Bike Trail is designed for shared use by nature explorers, fitness enthusiasts, and wildlife. The trail is lighted daily from dusk to dawn, so you can enjoy a safe exploration of Ward Island. Maps are available at the Dugan Wellness Center.
Located at Momentum Campus, the Momentum Multipurpose Fields can be configured to accommodate a number of sports and events such as flag football and soccer. Intramural contests, sport club practices, and games will be regularly held on these fields.
